Many of you may be wondering "why treat acne naturally?" After all, conventional acne treatments do appear to work well and can sometimes be subsidized by the government or health insurance providers so they aren't too expensive either. However, I still feel that natural acne remedies are far more effective for a variety of reasons.
Firstly, they don't contain harsh and dangerous chemicals. Many popular conventional acne treatments contain substances that could, in the long run, cause the skin more harm than good. Also, the dangerous chemicals in these creams, pills and lotions can be extremely damaging on the rest of the body, not just the skin. With natural treatments you don't have to worry about these unpleasant substances and their effect on your body.
Another great reason to go "natural" is to be friendly towards the environment. Conventional treatments are often overly-packaged and created in factories that pollute their surroundings. Natural treatments, by their very nature, are far better for the world in which we live.
Finally, in my opinion, natural acne remedies are overall more effective than conventional ones. Although modern pharmaceutical treatments are reasonably effective, natural ones work just as well, if not better.
When you take into account the fact that natural acne treatments are far less dangerous, are more "eco-friendly" and are as effective as (if not more effective than) conventional acne treatments, you'll see why so many people are going natural to treat acne!
